The Pearl River Rebels basketball team scored 54 points and limited the visiting Central Private Redhawks to 47 in the Rebels non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Rebels now possess a 11-6 record. They play next when they travel to Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy for a non-league game on Thursday, January 16. Pearl River will confront a Swamp Owls team coming off a 48-26 league win over St. Charles Catholic (LaPlace, LA). The Swamp Owls record now stands at 5-15.

With the loss, Central Private falls to 7-7 on the campaign. The Redhawks travel to False River (New Roads, LA) to confront the Gators in a non-league game on Monday, January 20. The Gators go into the game with a record of 2-12.
