Nebraska High School Basketball - Millard North thwarts Columbus

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Millard North Mustangs (Omaha, NE) and the host Columbus Discoverers (Columbus, NE), observed Millard North's basketball team knock off Columbus by a score of 70-53.

The Mustangs (10-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Millard South (Omaha, NE). The Patriots come into the non-league challenge with a 9-4 record. In their last challenge, Millard South prevailed over Lincoln East (Lincoln, NE), 57-34, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Discoverers encounter the Lincoln High Links (Lincoln, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 17. Columbus will attempt to improve on its 8-4 season record. The Links come into the challenge with a 6-4 record after their 61-9 non-league win over Omaha South (Omaha, NE).
