Nebraska High School Basketball - Raymond Central holds off David City

January 14, 2025: David City, NE 68632

The Raymond Central Mustangs basketball team scored 31 points and limited the host David City Scouts to 30 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now have a 10-3 record. They play next when they travel to Lakeview for a non-league game on Friday, January 17. Raymond Central will confront a Vikings team coming off a 51-20 non-league loss to Pierce (Pierce, NE). The Vikings record now stands at 3-9.

With the loss, David City falls to 6-7 on the campaign. The Scouts travel to Cross County (Stromsburg, NE) to confront the Cougars in a non-league game on Friday, January 17. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 12-1. Cross County won 68-38 in their recent league game against Twin River (Genoa, NE)
