Minarets Mustangs (O'Neals, CA) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Fowler Redcats (Fowler, CA), 44-41 in a league match.

With the victory, Minarets advances its record to 3-10 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Sierra (Tollhouse, CA) to meet the Chieftains in a Northwest Sequoia match on Friday, January 17. The Chieftains enter the match with a record of 13-6. Sierra won 67-30 in their recent league match against Chowchilla (Chowchilla, CA)

The Redcats now own a 2-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Yosemite for a Northwest Sequoia match on Friday, January 17. Fowler will meet a Badgers squad coming off a 49-38 league win over Fresno Christian (Fresno, CA). The Badgers record now stands at 6-13.
