The Newcastle Racers (Newcastle, OK) basketball edged the host Kingfisher Yellowjackets (Kingfisher, OK), 58-54 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Racers now possess a 10-4 record. They play next when they travel to Clinton for a Western bout on Thursday, January 16. Newcastle will play a Red Tornadoes team coming off a 43-29 league loss to Woodward (Woodward, OK). The Red Tornadoes record now stands at 1-10.
