In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Mackay Miners basketball team scored a big 59-30 triumph over the Sho-Ban Chiefs.
The Miners (8-8) will now prepare for their contest against Richfield (Richfield, ID). The Tigers go into the non-league contest with a 4-10 record. In their last contest, Richfield smashed Wood River (Hailey, ID), 31-20, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Chiefs battle the Watersprings (Idaho Falls, ID) in a 1A Rocky Mountain contest, on Thursday, January 16. Sho-Ban will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The go into the contest with a 3-10 record after their 33-16 league loss to Grace Lutheran (Pocatello, ID).
