The Roosters/Chicks (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Grandview (Grandview, MO). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, Grandview edged Pembroke Hill (Kansas City, MO), 54-30, in a non-league contest.

Next up, the Owls meet the Pembroke Hill Raiders (Kansas City, MO) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, January 16. Marshall will attempt to advance on its 3-9 season record. The Raiders enter the battle with a 2-7 record after their 54-30 non-league loss to Grandview (Grandview, MO).
