In Tuesday's league test, the Sylvan-Lucas Mustangs (Sylvan Grove, KS) basketball squad trounced the host Natoma Tigers (Natoma, KS), by a score of 69-9.

Next, the Mustangs encounter the Otis-Bison Cougars (Otis, KS) in a non-league test, on Friday, January 31. Sylvan-Lucas will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record.

The Tigers (1-7) will now prepare for their test against Pike Valley (Scandia, KS). The Panthers come into the non-league test with a 5-4 record. In their last test, Pike Valley bounced Tescott (Tescott, KS), 43-39, in a league test.
