New York High School Basketball - North Tonawanda triumphant over Sacred Heart Academy

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the North Tonawanda Lumberjacks (North Tonawanda, NY) and the host Sacred Heart Academy Sharks (Buffalo, NY), observed North Tonawanda's basketball team overwhelm Sacred Heart Academy by a score of 70-44.

The Lumberjacks (9-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Lewiston-Porter (Youngstown, NY). The Lancers come into the Section 6 Niagara - Frontier challenge with a 0-2 record.

In their next game, the Sharks encounter the Nardin Academy Gators (Buffalo, NY) in a Monsignor Martin challenge, on Thursday, January 16. Sacred Heart Academy will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record. The Gators come into the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 50-24 league loss to Nichols (Buffalo, NY).
