In Tuesday's league contest, the host University Christian Barracudas basketball team scored a big 59-7 triumph over the Salem Baptist Christian Vikings.
The Barracudas (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Hickory Christian Academy (Hickory, NC). The Knights go into the NCISAA Foothills contest with a 1-9 record. In their last contest, Hickory Christian Academy was trounced by Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy (Mooresville, NC), 49-26, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Vikings battle the Statesville Christian Lions (Statesville, NC) in a NCISAA Foothills contest, on Friday, January 17. Salem Baptist Christian will attempt to better on its 0-8 season record. The Lions go into the contest with a 7-3 record after their 41-17 league win over Hickory Christian Academy (Hickory, NC).
