The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the St. Michael Warriors (Baton Rouge, LA) and the visiting St. James Wildcats (St. James, LA), observed St. Michael's basketball team edge St. James by a score of 34-31.
The Warriors (8-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Brusly (Brusly, LA). The Panthers come into the 4A District 6 challenge with a 7-14 record. In their last challenge, Brusly was tipped by East Iberville (St. Gabriel, LA), 42-39, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Wildcats encounter the South Terrebonne Gators (Bourg, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 16. St. James will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record.
