In their next game, the Spartans face the Basic Wolves (Henderson, NV) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 15. Cimarron-Memorial will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record. The Wolves enter the challenge with a 8-5 record after their 19-6 league loss to Shadow Ridge (Las Vegas, NV).

The Desert Shields (1-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Legacy (North Las Vegas, NV). The Longhorns enter the 4A Mountain challenge with a 6-3 record. In their last challenge, Legacy was ripped by Sierra Vista (Las Vegas, NV), 32-12, in a league challenge.
