In Tuesday's league contest, the host Grovetown Warriors basketball team scored a good 46-29 triumph over the Newton Rams.
The Warriors (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Evans (Evans, GA). The Knights go into the non-league contest with a 7-0 record. In their last contest, Evans topped Lakeside (Evans, GA), 52-17, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Rams battle the Heritage Patriots (Conyers, GA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 24. Newton will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record.
