The Blue Waves (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Kemper County (DeKalb, MS). The Wildcats enter the Class 1 Region 4 battle with a 0-9 record. In their last battle, Kemper County by Philadelphia (Philadelphia, MS), 5-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Tigers battle the Strayhorn Mustangs (Sarah, MS) in a non-league battle, on Friday, January 17. Winona will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record. The Mustangs enter the battle with a 10-2 record after their 7-0 league win over Independence (Independence, MS).
