The Highland Hornets basketball team scored 71 points and limited the host Bernalillo Spartans to 29 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Hornets now possess a 7-0 record. They play next when they host Valley for a non-league game on Friday, January 17. Highland will confront a Vikings team coming off a 68-60 non-league loss to Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM). The Vikings record now stands at 3-5.

With the loss, Bernalillo falls to 2-9 on the campaign. The Spartans host Cuba (Cuba, NM) to confront the Rams in a non-league game on Wednesday, January 15. The Rams go into the game with a record of 4-3.
