The North Brunswick Scorpions (Leland, NC) basketball crushed the host Heide Trask Titans (Rocky Point, NC), 70-31 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Scorpions now possess a 9-5 record. They play next when they host Topsail for a non-league bout on Friday, January 17. North Brunswick will play a Pirates team coming off a 39-27 non-league win over East Bladen (Elizabethtown, NC). The Pirates record now stands at 6-8.

With the loss, Heide Trask falls to 6-6 on the campaign. The Titans travel to East Columbus (Lake Waccamaw, NC) to play the Gators in a non-league bout on Friday, January 17. The Gators go into the bout with a record of 1-7. East Columbus lost 65-43 in their recent non-league bout against Whiteville (Whiteville, NC)
