The Wahkiakum Mules basketball team scored 49 points and limited the visiting Naselle Comets to 42 in the Mules non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mules now have a 9-3 record. They play next when they host Firm Foundation Christian for a non-league game on Thursday, January 16. Wahkiakum will confront a Eagles team coming off a 55-27 non-league loss to Oakville (Oakville, WA). The Eagles record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Naselle falls to 4-4 on the campaign. The Comets host Kelso (Kelso, WA) to confront the Hilanders in a non-league game on Thursday, January 16. The Hilanders go into the game with a record of 3-8. Kelso lost 41-29 in their recent non-league game against Washougal (Washougal, WA)
