The Chaparral Firebirds edged the visiting Hamilton Huskies soccer team by a tally of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league game.
Next, the Firebirds face the Flagstaff Eagles (Flagstaff, AZ) in a non-league game, on Friday, January 17. Chaparral will attempt to advance on its 3-5 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 4-3 record after their 1-0 league win over Coconino (Flagstaff, AZ).
The Huskies (9-5) will now prepare for their game against Basha (Chandler, AZ). The Bears enter the 6A Premier game with a 2-6 record.
