The Iroquois West Raiders basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the visiting Herscher Tigers to 47 in the Raiders non-league victory on Saturday.
The Raiders now sport a 15-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gardner-South Wilmington for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 18. Iroquois West will battle a Panthers team coming off a 56-24 non-league loss to Reed-Custer (Braidwood, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 5-15.
The Tigers (14-4) will now prepare for their contest against Reed-Custer (Braidwood, IL). The Comets come into the Illinois Central 8 contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Reed-Custer prevailed over Gardner-South Wilmington (Gardner, IL), 56-24, in a non-league contest.
