The Cherokee Bluff Bears basketball team (Flowery Branch, GA), was overwhelmed 65-35 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Hebron Christian Academy Lions (Dacula, GA)
The Lions now possess a 14-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Banks County for a AA Region 8 battle on Monday, January 17. Hebron Christian Academy will confront a Leopards team coming off a 57-44 league loss to Union County (Blairsville, GA). The Leopards record now stands at 8-11.
The Bears (8-11) will now prepare for their battle against East Forsyth (Gainesville, GA). The Broncos come into the AAA Region 7 battle with a 12-5 record. In their last battle, East Forsyth trounced Lakeview Academy (Gainesville, GA), 63-52, in a non-league battle.
