In Saturday's non-league outing, the Emmaus Hornets (Emmaus, PA) basketball squad felled the host Pleasant Valley Bears (Brodheadsville, PA), by a margin of 50-30.
The Hornets (7-2) will now prepare for their outing against Easton Area (Easton, PA). The Rovers go into the non-league outing with a 6-0 record. In their last outing, Easton Area thwarted Liberty (Bethlehem, PA), 62-34, in a league outing.
The Bears now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Pocono Mountain West for a Mountain Valley outing on Tuesday, January 18. Pleasant Valley will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 56-19 non-league win over William Allen (Allentown, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 6-2.
