The Hodgson Vo-Tech Eagles basketball team (Newark, DE), was toppled 68-50 in Sunday's non-league battle with the visiting Math Civics & Sciences Mighty Elephants (Philadelphia, PA)

The Mighty Elephants now possess a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host John Bartram for a Philadelphia Public - A battle on Tuesday, January 17. Math Civics & Sciences will confront a Braves team coming off a 83-70 non-league loss to J.P. McCaskey (Lancaster, PA). The Braves record now stands at 3-12.

The Eagles (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against Brandywine (Wilmington, DE). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 1-7 record. In their last battle, Brandywine was toppled by Chichester (Boothwyn, PA), 80-62, in a non-league battle.
