The Norfolk Collegiate Mighty Oaks routed the host St. Paul's Crusaders basketball team by a final score of 77-40 in Sunday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Mighty Oaks face the Peninsula Catholic Knights (Newport News, VA) in a Tidewater Independent game, on Tuesday, January 17. Norfolk Collegiate will attempt to move on its 10-8 season record. The Knights enter the game with a 17-4 record after their 76-59 non-league win over Fairfax Christian (Dulles, VA).
With the defeat, St. Paul's moves to 2-7 on the year. The Crusaders host Chapelgate Christian Academy (Marriottsville, MD) to face the Yellowjackets in a MIAA B game on Monday, January 16. The Yellowjackets enter the game with a record of 13-4. Chapelgate Christian Academy won 54-45 in their recent league game against Indian Creek (Crownsville, MD)
