The Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart Mustangs basketball team (Hector, MN), dropped 72-53 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting Sibley East Wolverines (Arlington, MN)
The Wolverines now possess a 3-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mayer Lutheran for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 18. Sibley East will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 78-77 non-league win over Hope Academy (Minneapolis, MN). The Crusaders record now stands at 6-8.
The Mustangs (1-11) will now prepare for their battle against Sleepy Eye (Sleepy Eye, MN). The Indians come into the A Section 2 battle with a 10-1 record. In their last battle, Sleepy Eye beat Cleveland (Cleveland, MN), 71-41, in a league battle.
