The Lions enter the match with a 11-7 record after their 77-51 non-league win over Harvest Christian Academy (Elgin, IL).

With the defeat, Lake Forest Academy moves to 5-11 on the year. The Caxys host Latin (Chicago, IL) to meet the Romans in a Independent School challenge on Thursday, January 18. The Romans come into the challenge with a record of 8-9. Latin won 71-65 in their recent league challenge against Northridge (Niles, IL)
