Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Chapel Hill Panthers (Douglasville, GA) and the visiting Carrollton Trojans (Carrollton, GA), saw Chapel Hill's basketball squad overcome Carrollton by a tally of 74-62.

With the victory, Chapel Hill improves its record to 11-5 on the campaign. The Panthers host Tri-Cities (East Point, GA) to confront the Bulldogs in a AAAAA Region 5 challenge on Friday, January 19. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 10-7. Tri-Cities lost 70-67 in their recent league challenge against Banneker (College Park, GA)

Next up, the Trojans confront the Pebblebrook Falcons (Mableton, GA) in a AAAAAAA Region 2 challenge, on Friday, January 19. Carrollton will attempt to improve on its 12-5 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 6-11 record after their 78-58 non-league win over South Cobb (Austell, GA).
