California High School Basketball - Castaic routs Hueneme

In Monday's non-league outing, the Castaic Coyotes (Castaic, CA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Hueneme Vikings (Oxnard, CA), by a margin of 81-31.

The Coyotes (15-9) will now prepare for their outing against Golden Valley (Santa Clarita, CA). The Grizzlies go into the Foothill outing with a 15-7 record. In their last outing, Golden Valley smashed Lancaster (Lancaster, CA), 54-41, in a non-league outing.

The Vikings now own a 4-15 record. They play next when they travel to Malibu for a Citrus Coast outing on Tuesday, January 16. Hueneme will clash with a Sharks squad coming off a 50-41 non-league loss to East College Prep (Los Angeles, CA). The Sharks record now stands at 2-8.
