The Cedar Shoals Jaguars basketball team scored 72 points and held the host East Hall Vikings to 66 in the Jaguars league triumph on Monday.
The Jaguars now sport a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Walnut Grove for a AAAA Region 8 contest on Friday, January 19. Cedar Shoals will meet a Warriors team coming off a 58-56 non-league loss to Cherokee Bluff (Flowery Branch, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 10-9.
The Vikings (10-7) will now prepare for their contest against Bettye Davis East Anchorage (Anchorage, AK). The Thunderbirds enter the non-league contest with a 7-0 record. In their last contest, Bettye Davis East Anchorage nudged Service (Anchorage, AK), 41-37, in a league contest.
