The East College Prep Spartans (Los Angeles, CA) basketball felled the visiting Malibu Sharks (Malibu, CA), 50-41 in Monday's non-league test.
The Spartans (6-7) will now prepare for their test against Alliance Bloomfield (Huntington Park, CA). The Bulls go into the Eastside test with a 3-10 record. In their last test, Alliance Bloomfield was beaten by ESAT (Los Angeles, CA), 2-0, in a league test.
The Sharks now own a 2-8 record. They play next when they host Hueneme for a Citrus Coast test on Tuesday, January 16. Malibu will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 81-31 non-league loss to Castaic (Castaic, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 4-15.
