Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Shrine Catholic Knights (Royal Oak, MI) and the visiting Frankel Jewish Academy of Metro Detroit Jaguars (West Bloomfield, MI), saw Shrine Catholic's basketball squad wallop Frankel Jewish Academy of Metro Detroit by a count of 61-26.

With the victory, Shrine Catholic upgrades its record to 6-6 on the campaign. The Knights host Bishop Foley (Madison Heights, MI) to play the Ventures in a Catholic Intersectional I challenge on Saturday, January 20. The Ventures come into the challenge with a record of 6-6.

Next up, the Jaguars play the Cabrini Monarchs (Allen Park, MI) in a Catholic Intersectional II challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Frankel Jewish Academy of Metro Detroit will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record. The Monarchs come into the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 66-51 league loss to Detroit Cristo Rey (Detroit, MI).
