In Monday's non-league outing, the Sandy Creek Patriots (Tyrone, GA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Flint Hill Huskies (Oakton, VA), by a count of 71-48.
The Patriots (14-2) will now prepare for their outing against Carver (Atlanta, GA). The Panthers go into the AAA Region 5 outing with a 2-10 record. In their last outing, Carver was crushed by Cedar Grove (Ellenwood, GA), 86-12, in a league outing.
The Huskies now hold a 9-6 record. They play next when they host Maret for a DCSAA AA outing on Friday, January 19. Flint Hill will clash with a Frogs squad coming off a 63-19 non-league win over Ron Brown (Washington, DC). The Frogs record now stands at 13-4.
