The Lynden Lions (Lynden, WA) basketball crushed the host King's Knights (Seattle, WA), 64-39 in Monday's non-league contest.
The Lions now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Burlington-Edison for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest contest on Wednesday, January 17. Lynden will battle a Tigers team coming off a 79-67 league loss to Lakewood (Arlington, WA). The Tigers record now stands at 6-8.
The Knights (9-5) will now prepare for their contest against Overlake (Redmond, WA). The Owls come into the 1A Emerald Sound contest with a 6-8 record. In their last contest, Overlake was routed by Sultan (Sultan, WA), 62-52, in a league contest.
