In Monday's non-league outing, the Naperville Central Redhawks (Naperville, IL) basketball squad edged the host Lakes Eagles (Lake Villa, IL), by a count of 55-51.
The Redhawks (7-13) will now prepare for their outing against Waubonsie Valley (Aurora, IL). The Warriors go into the DuPage Valley outing with a 18-0 record. In their last outing, Waubonsie Valley held off Carmel (Mundelein, IL), 57-43, in a non-league outing.
The Eagles now hold a 5-14 record. They play next when they host Grant Community for a Northern Lake County outing on Friday, January 19. Lakes will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 63-61 non-league loss to Wilmot (Wilmot, WI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-10.
