The Loyalsock Township Lancers basketball team scored 73 points and restricted the visiting Mifflinburg Wildcats to 47 in the Lancers non-league victory on Monday.

The Lancers now sport a 12-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southern Columbia Area for a Heartland III contest on Wednesday, January 17. Loyalsock Township will battle a Tigers team coming off a 53-40 non-league win over Marian Catholic (Tamaqua, PA). The Tigers record now stands at 7-3.

The Wildcats (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against Danville (Danville, PA). The Ironmen come into the non-league contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Danville triumphed over Central Columbia (Bloomsburg, PA), 61-54, in a league contest.
