Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Lutheran Crusaders (Rockford, IL) and the host Princeton Tigers (Princeton, IL), saw Lutheran's basketball squad hold off Princeton by a tally of 73-67.

With the victory, Lutheran improves its record to 14-7 on the campaign. The Crusaders host Dixon (Dixon, IL) to confront the Dukes & Duchesses in a Big Northern challenge on Friday, January 19. The Dukes & Duchesses come into the challenge with a record of 17-3. Dixon won 62-20 in their recent league challenge against North Boone (Poplar Grove, IL)

Next up, the Tigers confront the Kewanee Boilermakers (Kewanee, IL) in a Three Rivers - East challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Princeton will attempt to improve on its 8-10 season record.
