In Monday's non-league outing, the Mt. Pleasant Oilers (Mt. Pleasant, MI) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Swan Valley Vikings (Saginaw, MI), by a margin of 71-36.

The Oilers (6-5) will now prepare for their outing against Bay City Western (Auburn, MI). The Warriors go into the Saginaw Valley outing with a 4-4 record.

The Vikings now own a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Birch Run for a Tri-Valley - Red match on Friday, January 19. Swan Valley will meet a Panthers team coming off a 67-52 non-league win over Lakeville (Otisville, MI). The Panthers record now stands at 4-7.
