The Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center] Titans basketball team scored 72 points and held the visiting New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva Panthers to 59 in the Titans non-league triumph on Monday.

The Titans now sport a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central for a AA Section 2 contest on Thursday, January 18. Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center] will meet a Raiders team coming off a 81-61 league loss to Belle Plaine (Belle Plaine, MN). The Raiders record now stands at 4-11.

The Panthers (2-11) will now prepare for their contest against Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton (Janesville, MN). The Bulldogs enter the AA Section 2 contest with a 12-4 record. In their last contest, Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton ran past Blue Earth (Blue Earth, MN), 80-60, in a league contest.
