With the victory, Woodward Academy improves its record to 14-4 on the campaign. The War Eagles host Jonesboro (Jonesboro, GA) to play the Cardinals in a AAAAAA Region 3 challenge on Wednesday, January 17. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 10-8. Jonesboro lost 71-60 in their recent non-league challenge against Westlake (Atlanta, GA)

Next up, the Jaguars play the Johnson Knights (Gainesville, GA) in a AAAA Region 8 challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Seckinger will attempt to improve on its 13-5 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 0-15 record after their 80-24 league loss to Chestatee (Gainesville, GA).
