Illinois High School Basketball - Yorkville can't hold off Stevenson

The Stevenson Patriots basketball team scored 47 points and restricted the host Yorkville Foxes to 45 in the Patriots non-league victory on Monday.
The Patriots now sport a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lake Zurich for a North Suburban contest on Friday, January 19. Stevenson will battle a Bears team coming off a 64-46 league win over Mundelein (Mundelein, IL). The Bears record now stands at 13-4.
The Foxes (9-8) will now prepare for their contest against Plainfield South (Plainfield, IL). The Cougars come into the SouthWest Prairie contest with a 5-12 record.
