Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Westover Wolverines (Fayetteville, NC) and the host Trinity Christian Crusaders (Fayetteville, NC), saw Westover's basketball squad hold off Trinity Christian by a tally of 70-65.

With the victory, Westover improves its record to 10-1 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Western Harnett (Lillington, NC) to confront the Eagles in a 3A/4A All-American challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 0-12. Western Harnett lost 67-30 in their recent league contest against Overhills (Spring Lake, NC)

The Crusaders (13-5) will now prepare for their contest against O'Neal (Southern Pines, NC). The Falcons come into the NCISAA Sandhills contest with a 0-15 record. In their last contest, O'Neal was nudged by Northwood Temple Academy (Fayetteville, NC), 93-47, in a league contest.
