Biddeford Tigers (Biddeford, ME) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Yarmouth Clippers (Yarmouth, ME), 29-28 in a league bout.

With the win, Biddeford upgrades its record to 7-5 on the season. The Tigers host Portland (Portland, ME) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Friday, January 19. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 2-10. Portland lost 63-47 in their recent league bout against Edward Little (Auburn, ME)

Next up, the Clippers play the Fryeburg Raiders (Fryeburg, ME) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 20. Yarmouth will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 8-3 record after their 58-28 non-league win over Cape Elizabeth (Cape Elizabeth, ME).
