In Monday's league outing, the Glen Ridge Ridgers (Glen Ridge, NJ) basketball squad edged the host Bloomfield Bengals (Bloomfield, NJ), by a count of 45-40.

The Ridgers (9-2) will now prepare for their outing against Cedar Grove (Cedar Grove, NJ). The Panthers go into the Super Essex - Liberty outing with a 3-8 record. In their last outing, Cedar Grove was tipped by Waldwick (Waldwick, NJ), 44-37, in a non-league outing.
