The Brethren Bobcats basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Buckley Bears to 36 in the Bobcats non-league triumph on Monday.
The Bobcats now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Baldwin for a West Michigan D contest on Tuesday, January 16. Brethren will battle a Panthers team coming off a 47-43 league loss to Mesick (Mesick, MI). The Panthers record now stands at 0-4.
The Bears (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Catholic Central (Manistee, MI). The Sabers enter the non-league contest with a 4-5 record.
