The Central A & M Raiders basketball team (Moweaqua, IL), was toppled 51-41 in Monday's non-league battle with the host South Fork Ponies (Kincaid, IL)
The Ponies now possess a 16-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Meridian for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 16. South Fork will confront a Hawks team coming off a 47-34 non-league loss to Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg (Windsor, IL). The Hawks record now stands at 7-13.
The Raiders (19-5) will now prepare for their battle against Shelbyville (Shelbyville, IL). The Rams come into the Central Illinois battle with a 7-13 record. In their last battle, Shelbyville beat Martinsville (Martinsville, IL), 60-23, in a non-league battle.
