The Chariho Chargers basketball team scored 46 points and held the host Prout Crusaders to 28 in the Chargers league triumph on Monday.
The Chargers now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shea for a Division 2 contest on Wednesday, January 17. Chariho will battle a Raiders team coming off a 58-47 league win over Mount St. Charles Academy (Woonsocket, RI). The Raiders record now stands at 9-1.
The Crusaders (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against Cumberland (Cumberland, RI). The Clippers enter the Division 2 contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Cumberland was defeated by West Warwick (West Warwick, RI), 46-37, in a league contest.
