The Danville Bears basketball team scored 76 points and restricted the visiting Mt. Pleasant Panthers to 34 in the Bears non-league victory on Monday.
The Bears now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host New London for a SEI - West contest on Tuesday, January 16. Danville will battle a Tigers team coming off a 60-37 non-league loss to Van Buren County (Keosauqua, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-11.
The Panthers (3-9) will now prepare for their contest against Fort Madison (Fort Madison, IA). The Bloodhounds come into the Southeast contest with a 7-4 record.
