Hornell Red Raiders (Hornell, NY) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Geneseo Blue Devils (Geneseo, NY), 99-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hornell upgrades its record to 8-1 on the season. The Red Raiders travel to York (Retsof, NY) to clash with the Golden Knights in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 17. The Golden Knights go into the bout with a record of 3-1. York lost 55-40 in their recent league bout against Caledonia-Mumford (Caledonia, NY)

Next up, the Blue Devils clash with the Avon Braves (Avon, NY) in a Section 5 Livingston 2 bout, on Friday, January 19. Geneseo will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record.
