The Mississinawa Valley Blackhawks basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the visiting Indian Lake Lakers to 35 in the Blackhawks non-league victory on Monday.
The Blackhawks now sport a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ansonia for a Western Ohio contest on Saturday, January 20. Mississinawa Valley will battle a Tigers team coming off a 43-39 league loss to Newton Local (Pleasant Hill, OH). The Tigers record now stands at 6-8.
The Lakers (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against London (London, OH). The Red Raiders come into the non-league contest with a 9-6 record. In their last contest, London was routed by Bellefontaine (Bellefontaine, OH), 42-31, in a league contest.
