Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Mead Panthers (Spokane, WA) and the host Lakeside Lions (Seattle, WA), saw Mead's basketball squad hold off Lakeside by a tally of 62-60.
The Panthers (12-1) will now prepare for their test against Cheney (Cheney, WA). The Blackhawks go into the 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane test with a 2-9 record. In their last test, Cheney was tipped by Central Valley (Spokane Valley, WA), 68-28, in a league test.
