    • Ohio High School Basketball - Steele trounces Normandy

    January 15, 2024: Amherst, OH 44001

    The Steele Comets (Amherst, OH) basketball crushed the visiting Normandy Invaders (Parma, OH), 51-27 in Monday's non-league test.

    The Comets (7-5) will now prepare for their test against Avon (Avon, OH). The Eagles go into the Southwestern test with a 8-6 record. In their last test, Avon was trounced by Midview (Grafton, OH), 56-52, in a league test.

    The Invaders now own a 6-7 record. They play next when they host Madison for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 17. Normandy will encounter a Blue Streaks squad coming off a 46-44 non-league win over Lake Catholic (Mentor, OH). The Blue Streaks record now stands at 12-2.
